About Us

We realize that remote learning can be a challenge for students of all ages. The lack of in-class interactions between teachers and students can negatively impact students’ learning experience. There are students who have difficulty understanding and retaining remote learning and need supplemental support from trained professionals. Otherwise, students will not benefit from a full year of learning, putting them at a disadvantage to their peers.

Horizon Tutoring Services provide supplemental learning experiences for elementary & high school students to enhance their instruction. Customized services are tailored for each student to reinforce grade level skills, provide challenging activities to high performing students, and/or improve executive functioning habits such as organizing, planning, studying and prioritizing.

Highly Qualified Educators

We know that learning is easier when you have an excellent teacher! All of our instructors are licensed educators & have extensive experience with the Common Core State Standards. Our instructors are passionate about teaching & they bring this enthusiasm to their sessions.

Curricula

A customized curriculum will be created based on the learning plan designed for your student. Each student will be given a diagnostic assessment, which includes a specialized survey & parent/student interviews. Our experts will then determine your student's learning plan.

COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

-All in-person sessions (individual & group) will require temperature checks.

-Instructors & students are required to wear masks for the entire session.

-In group sessions, students will be seated 6 feet apart & no supplies will be shared.

-Sessions will be rescheduled for instructors & students not feeling well.
